Kick off Black History Month with the Black Culture Market in Brixton on 5 and 6 October. The two-day event showcases over 40 traders offering a diverse range of products, including African and Caribbean-inspired food and fashion, gifts, books, toys, natural skincare, and striking artworks. Held at The Department Store from 11am to 5pm each day, entry is free and tickets are available online.

The market is about more than shopping. It supports emerging black entrepreneurs and new businesses of African and Caribbean descent, helping to close the wealth gap, create opportunities, and inspire ownership. Whether you're on the hunt for unique jewellery, prints, male grooming kits, clothes, or original accessories, the Black Culture Market offers a community-driven space that celebrates creativity, culture, and commerce in one of London's most iconic neighbourhoods.
