Carnaby Street's about to get even sweeter. On Friday, 6 June, Donutelier – the luxe doughnut spot known for its Insta-worthy treats – is hosting a full-on day party for National Doughnut Day. Doors open at 11:30am, with free doughnuts for the first 100 through the door. From 1pm, you'll even be able to spin the wheel for prizes, all while jamming to live DJ sets.
To mark the occasion, Donutelier is launching three new flavours, including the 'Berry Macaron', filled with rose, raspberry and lychee ganache, topped with fresh berries, Chantilly cream and an actual macaron ring. Then there's the 'Lemon Meringue', which pays homage to the favourite dessert with a zesty lemon curd filling, vanilla sugar crust and toasted meringue topping. And for the chocoholics, there's the 'Double Chocolate Sprinkles' – filled with ganache, glaze, sprinkles and a double chocolate cookie on top. Also joining the party is a brand-new 'Banoffee Pecan Cookie', made with banana chocolate dough, toffee caramel, caramelised banana and pecan praline.
Wash it all down with one of their new limited-edition drinks, such as the 'Berry Pink Lemonade' and 'Yuzu Mint Lemonade', or for something a little sweeter, try the 'Rochers Frappé' – a rich choccy blend topped with whipped cream, cocoa and shavings. You'll also find their usual iced matchas and house coffees on offer.
