Born from the electric collision of East London's creativity and East Tokyo's energetic neighbourhood spirit, Mitsu is set to redefine the local dining scene.

Mitsu

Located just minutes from the Old Street Roundabout, Mitsu fuses authentic Japanese cooking with Shoreditch's unmistakable attitude, serving a menu of smoky robata cuts, comforting kamameshi rice dishes, meticulously crafted sushi selections, elevated Wagyu sandos, and more. Behind the bar, expertly mixed cocktails flow alongside premium sake and ice-cold whisky highballs, setting the tone for nights that don't hold back.

Positioning itself as the new beating heart of Shoreditch, Mitsu is more than just what's on the plate. Decked out in natural tones and textures, with traditional pottery, lush foliage, and moody lighting creating a relaxing setting, the high-ceilinged restaurant includes a karaoke room, private dining spaces, and a photobooth, hosting regular DJ sets from local talent to keep the evenings going.

From laidback lunches to after-work unwinds, high-energy dinners to late-night sessions, Mitsu is looking to be one of the buzziest new openings of 2026. It launches officially on 9 April, with bookings already open here.
