Emerge East is set to make a comeback for its fourth edition on Saturday, 6 September 2025, at Barking Riverside. This free festival is dedicated to celebrating community, creativity, and nature, offering a vibrant day out in one of East London's newest neighbourhoods.
Attendees can look forward to a diverse line-up featuring music, food, art, and wellbeing activities. The festival will showcase renowned DJs and an immersive art experience, with further details to be announced in August.
A culinary highlight, “A Taste of Barking Riverside - The Home Cooks”, will see local residents transform into street food vendors, sharing cherished family recipes or debuting new dishes for festival-goers.
SaunaMasterUK, in partnership with Community Sauna Baths, will present the Wild Riverside Sauna. This experience, previously seen in Hackney and Stratford, offers the benefits of deep heat, cold contrast, and soothing steam, all with a view of the River Thames.
The event will also include creative workshops suitable for all ages, an Emerging Makers' Market featuring local artisans and businesses, and a variety of performances, wellness workshops, and more.
