Beloved star of book and film Paddington Bear is taking to the stage in a brand-new musical production at the Savoy Theatre this November.
The story of a small bear from Peru lost in London and finding a new family has charmed millions around the world, whether in its original literary form or the hugely successful film adaptations – even Queen Elizabeth II sat down for tea and a marmalade sandwich with Paddington in a memorable advert for her Jubilee celebrations.
Now, the iconic character is taking to the stage in a new musical recounting his story, complete with original music and lyrics by Tom Fletcher of McFly. Directed by Luke Sheppard, whose past projects include award-winning hits such as “& Juliet” and “Starlight Express,” the musical will take guests aged four and up on a jam-packed adventure.
