Ever wondered how scientists manage to scale some of the tallest trees in the world? Join science communicator and forest ecologist Robin Hayward at The Royal Institution for a gripping journey into the rainforest canopy, where she'll demonstrate the specialist equipment that allows scientists to leave the forest floor behind and explore the towering heights of trees.

Robin will share stories from her own research, showcasing the amazing adaptations in nature that help create flourishing ecosystems high above the ground. The forest canopy is full of strange and fascinating discoveries, from flying lizards to plants that drink directly from the air.

This event, presented by the Royal Institution in partnership with Imperial College London, is part of the Undaunted programme aimed at tackling climate change through clean-tech innovation.

The event takes place on 5 April. Tickets cost just £16 and can be booked here.
