Trailblazing Vietnamese chef Bao La will be hosting a family-style feast during his September residency at Carousel.
For its next talented guest, Carousel, the Fitzrovia wine bar with rotating kitchen residencies by some of the most exciting names in contemporary dining, is bringing over chef and podcaster Bao La. Originally from Brisbane, his culinary career started at a young age, at his parents' Vietnamese restaurant. Later he trained under renowned chefs in Sydney and Hong Kong before opening his pioneering Vietnamese grill house, Le Garçon Saigon, and cult bánh mì hotspot, Le Petit Saigon.
Currently dividing his time between his permanent ventures and global pop-up adventures, Bao La will be treating Londoners to a “Cơm Nhà” family-style sharing feast at Carousel, including dishes such as beef-wrapped betel leaves and spring onion, grilled fish wrapped in banana leaf, dill & turmeric, and honeycomb sponge cake with coconut ice.
Bao La will be at Carousel from 19 to 23 September. You can book your spot here.
