Find out which London pub made CAMRA's Pub of the Year shortlist

The Campaign for Real Ale (CAMRA) has revealed this year's regional finalists for its coveted Pub of the Year award.

Each year, CAMRA scores pubs from across the nation according to atmosphere, service, beer quality, and other important features that contribute to what makes a good pub such a treasure. Dividing the country up into regions, the highest-scoring club in each area makes it onto the final shortlist from which the overall Pub of the Year will be crowned.

In 2024, the following 17 pubs will be battling it out for the title of Pub of the Year:

• Blackfriars Tavern, Great Yarmouth (East Anglia)
• Horse and Jockey, Stapleford (East Midlands)
• Northumberland Arms, Marple Bridge (Greater Manchester)
• Nelson Arms, Tonbridge (Kent)
• Little Green Dragon, Winchmore Hill (Greater London)
• Turks Head, St Helens (Merseyside and Cheshire)
• Grey Horse, Consett (North East)
• Dog and Duck, Lisbellaw (Northern Ireland)
• Hillend Tavern, Dalgety Bay (Scotland)
• Crossways Inn, West Huntspill (South West)
• Brickmakers Alehouse, Bexhill on Sea (Surrey and Sussex)
• Cresselly Arms, Cressell Quay (Wales)
• Woodman Inn, Bridport (Wessex)
• Bailey Head, Oswestry (West Midlands)
• Black Horse, Preston (West Pennines)
• Three B's, Bridlington (Yorkshire)

The shortlist will be narrowed down to four by the judges in late September, then the overall winner will be announced in January 2025. Good luck to all the contestants!
