The world-famous Rio de Janeiro Carnival kicks off this weekend, but if that seems a bit difficult to attend, there's an easier alternative right here in London.
This Sunday, the Clapham Grand is hosting its own day-long carnival party. Running from 2 to 9pm, Brazilian Carnaval 2025 at the historic venue will feature live samba music and drummers, dancers, acrobats, and other performers putting on a show throughout the day. There'll also be authentic street food and themed cocktails to make sure your energy levels don't drop as you spend the day dancing to the biggest samba, funk, house, MPB, bossa, forró, axé, pagode, sertanejo, hip hop, disco, and sambas hits, along with a photo booth, face painting, and more.
