The Michelin-starred Elystan Street in Chelsea is considered one of the top restaurants in the capital, with renowned chef Phil Howard serving up exquisite European fare in an elegant setting, complete with old-school service and hospitality. Indulging in one of Elystan Street's tasting menus is a treat for any gourmet, but even regularly returning patrons are in for a surprise in March.
In line with the upcoming Easter season, Howard will be cooking a one-off dinner with a common thread running through it on 26 March. Each of the seven courses will feature eggs in some way, shape, or form, with the culinary maestro demonstrating his skills in varied assortment of dishes. It's not just hen's eggs, either – the menu also features pheasant's eggs, caviar, quail's eggs, and more.
The eggsclusive tasting menu will be served in Elystan Street's private dining room and is part of the restaurant's “Conversations in Restaurants” series. Howard will be on-hand during the meal to discuss the dishes, including the best way to boil an egg.
The dinner is priced at £110 per person, with an optional wine pairing for an additional £65. You can book your spot via the restaurant website.
