The Grand Union in Wembley is gearing up for a vibrant summer festival on Saturday, 19 July, from 1-5pm. The event promises a day filled with activities for the entire community.
The Grand Union Community Hub will host a variety of local stalls and interactive workshops. Highlights include cookie and cupcake decorating for children by London's Community Kitchen, henna art, face-painting, and handmade candles. Brent Health will also be present, offering advice on enhancing mental and physical wellbeing.
Retailers will join the festivities with tastings, pop-ups, and giveaways. Attendees can look forward to special offers from Anytime Fitness and Hiyacar. Live music will set the mood with performances by Zemphy from 1-3pm and Phil Lagos from 3-5pm.
The festival will feature several engaging activities:

- Paddleboard and Canoe Sessions: Free sessions on the Grand Union Canal provide a fun, active experience on the water.
- Phase 4 Community Engagement Exhibition: Attendees can contribute ideas for the future of the Grand Union neighbourhood.
