This July, Greenwich Park is the place to be for two glorious days of free live music, circus, outdoor theatre and sunshine. Summer in the Park returns on 12 and 13 July, transforming one of London's prettiest green spaces into a hub of family fun.
The festival takes place beneath the iconic General Wolfe statue, with unbeatable views of the Thames. On Saturday, soak up sounds from London Youth Folk and the Soul Choir, catch acoustic sets from Aidan Grimshaw and Jamie Grey, and let She'Koyokh transport you with their Middle Eastern grooves. Elsewhere, circus pros AirCraft will have you spinning plates (literally), while artist Sally McKay brings clay and sketchbooks for those feeling arty. Swing by the Producers Market for street food, snacks and drinks.
There are also immersive outdoor performances, such as The Peacock and the Princess, a dreamy show of puppetry and dance inspired by Persian and Indian folk tales.
Sunday turns up the energy with ceilidh vibes from Ceilidh Tree, a lively Bhangra Ceilidh, and music from the beloved Askew Sisters. The UDMSamba Parade will bring carnival energy to the park, while creative classes and workshops keep things interesting.
The festival takes place on 12 and 13 July and is free to attend – just turn up.
