This year's edition of Meltdown Festival at the Southbank Centre will be curated by none other than Hazza.
The Meltdown festival at the Southbank Festival is no stranger to big names, with past editions curated by the likes of Little Simz, David Bowie, and Robert Smith, but as far as contemporary acts and of-the-moment names go, this year's might be the biggest of the lot. Global pop star Harry Styles has been announced as the curator of the 31st edition of the festival, not only helping shape the festival's 11-day programme in line with his wide-ranging musical tastes, but also performing a headline show.
The announcement is part of the Southbank Centre's 75th anniversary and comes just weeks after Styles' announced his new album “Kiss All the Time. Disco, Occasionally,” set for release in March. He's also announced a promotional tour in support of the album, including a dozen dates at Wembley Stadium. For comparison, the largest Southbank Centre venue clocks in at a paltry 2,700 seats, so tickets for his festival show are likely to be one of the hottest items of the year.
Meltdown 2026 will run from 11 to 21 June, with further details, including ticket prices and on-sale dates, to be revealed in the coming months. We'll keep you posted.
