Tamila is The Tamil Prince's new casual concept, and they've just announced that they're launching a tasty new South Indian breakfast menu at their Northcote Road location on 26 October. Alongside this exciting new menu offering, the Tamila team has also announced that they're set to launch yet another Tamila site, with location details yet to be confirmed.

Chef Prince Durairaj has crafted the 100% vegetarian weekend breakfast menu, drawing directly from his Tamil heritage. It echos the authentic South Indian inspiration behind the popular lunch and evening menus that have made Tamila a city favourite.

The new menu will launch on Saturday, 26 October, and will be available every Saturday and Sunday from 9 to 11 a.m. Expect to see early-morning staples from South India alongside some of Chef Prince's personal favourites, like madhu vadai, a soft, fried doughnut served with sambar and coconut chutney, and sweet kuli paniyaram, pan-fried dumplings made with fermented idli batter, jaggery, raw coconut, and cardamom powder. The food menu will be complemented by drinks like fresh orange juice, traditional South Indian filter coffee, and Masala tea.
