Throughout November, the elegant Novikov restaurant in Mayfair is shining a spotlight on the seasonal white truffle – particularly on Thursday evenings, when they'll take things up a notch to create an elevated experience for their guests.
Between 6 and 11pm every Thursday in November, Novikov will be hosting Truffle Nights, where they'll be joined by their truffle supplier Francesco to make the evening both engaging and educational. Their chefs have crafted unique dishes inspired by the white truffle, while guests will also have the option to add white truffle shavings to any dish they choose. Francesco will visit the table personally to shave the truffle on the spot and share a short story about it, letting guests leave not only with the incredible flavours of this delicacy lingering on their palate, but also with new knowledge about what they've enjoyed. For a rounded, multi-sensory evening, the restaurant will also showcase videos on featuring truffle hunting and harvesting footage on the screens of its Italian dining room.
