If you're looking for a fun and free summer activity, pop down to Westminster Abbey to join in the annual summer fete. Taking place on 8th July, this annual family-friendly event has lots going on to keep everybody entertained. There's no need to book a ticket in advance – simply turn up on the day. It's free to attend but there are additional costs for refreshments, competitions, and some activities, with all proceeds in aid of the Westminster Abbey Choir School Music Fund.

At the event you can take part in a range of games and fun family activities, meet birds of prey, and enter tombolas and raffles. Music and entertainment comes from Morris dancers and a live band, whilst refreshments come in the form of a barbecue, a beer tent, and tea and cakes. The Dean of Westminster, The Very Reverend David Hoyle, will also welcome everyone to the fete at 11.30am.
