One of the city's favourite modern Indian restaurants, Kricket, is set to launch its latest London outpost in Shoreditch. The new restaurant in a restored Victorian dispensary will open this March at 36 Charlotte Road.
This new all-day café and bar concept will feature an 80-cover restaurant serving Kricket's beloved à la carte menu, a 50-seat café and bar serving breakfast and street food snacks, and a private dining room doubling as a daytime workspace.
The breakfast menu is a first for Kricket and will debut with dishes like jaggery-glazed bacon chop, Andhra-spiced hash browns, and a fresh twist on eggs kejriwal, alongside chai, lassis, and Indian teas. The all-day menu includes street food options like Kolhapuri bhel, mutton keema toasties, and prawn and cuttlefish koliwada, paired with draught beers and wines. Sundays will feature their signature Murgh Musallam Sunday lunch.
The design is by CAKE Architecture, highlighting the building's historic charm, enhanced by bespoke artwork curated by Chef Patron Will Bowlby. "Shoreditch is the perfect home for Kricket's evolution," says co-founder Rik Campbell. "We're creating a space to eat, drink, and connect, day or night."
The café and bar will open daily from 8am to midnight, and the restaurant will serve lunch and dinner seven days a week.
