Kricket, the iconic modern Indian restaurant group founded by Rik Campbell and Will Bowlby, has officially opened its latest location in Shoreditch at 36 Charlotte Road, open six days a week for breakfast, lunch, and dinner. This swish new site marks an exciting milestone for the brand, which is introducing its first-ever breakfast menu as well as an all-day kafé and bar concept alongside its already popular à la carte menu.
In true Kricket style, the Shoreditch venue is spacious and chic, including 80 covers and a menu of Kricket's signature modern Indian dishes. There's also a 50-seat kafé and bar offering breakfast, street food-inspired snacks, and a snazzy drinks list. Since the restaurant is in a part of London popular amongst workers, the venue also has a private dining and meeting room for up to 18 guests, set to launch later this year – perfect for those business get togethers.

Founders Rik Campbell and Will Bowlby shared, “We're excited to bring our first-ever Kricket all-day kafé and bar concept to Shoreditch, offering the perfect backdrop to launch our brand-new breakfast menu, which has been in the works for over a year. Shoreditch has long been on our radar with its vibrant food scene, and this year, it's set to become an even bigger culinary destination with a wave of new openings. We're looking forward to the journey ahead!”

The new space is located in a former Victorian dispensary, with interiors designed by CAKE Architecture that bring history together with a contemporary touch. Expect high ceilings, plenty of natural light, and a cosy open log fire to set the tone, while walls painted in Jaipur Pink—a nod to India's historic 'Pink City'—are adorned with bespoke artworks curated by Chef Patron Will Bowlby.

Kricket's highly anticipated breakfast menu includes dishes like fried eggs with tomato chutney, smoked yoghurt, and curry leaf brown butter; kedgeree featuring andhra-spiced rice, lentils, smoked haddock, and a soft-boiled egg; and 'The Full Kricket', a reinvented full English with smoked bacon chop, mushrooms, eggs, chole, and tamarind brown sauce. For those with a sweet tooth, options include shahi tukra, a take on French toast with rhubarb and custard, and vanilla shrikhand with spiced granola, rhubarb, and jaggery.

Guests can choose from fresh juices, coffees, teas, or a warm masala chai, which can be levelled-up with rum or whisky. Breakfast cocktails include the peach and pomelo bellini, the bloody maharaja, the naashta sour with vodka, cinnamon orgeat, and marmalade, plus plenty of non-alcoholic options.
The kafé also transforms into a buzzy evening bar, open until midnight, where guests can tuck into street food snacks such as the Goan sausage roll with tomato chutney, crispy squid koliwada with green chilli mayonnaise, and the cult-favourite Bombay toastie with keens cheddar, green chutney, and piccalilli. The drinks menu includes natural wines, draught beers, signature cocktails, and more non-alcoholic options.

Kricket Shoreditch will also serve its legendary Sunday Lunch, an all-time favourite. Highlights include the murgh musallam, a whole charcoal-grilled tandoori chicken, and lamb raan, a charcoal-grilled leg of lamb, which are all served family-style with kebabs, black garlic and dried chilli raita, breads, and salads.

Kricket Shoreditch is taking bookings now and will be open six days a week for breakfast, lunch, and dinner.
