Organised by CinemaItaliaUK, a charity promoting Italian culture and cinema in the UK since 2014, the fourth edition of the Donne di Mafia mini film festival will take place at Riverside Studios in Hammersmith. Focusing on the role, presence, and agency of women in the Italian mafia, as well as their portrayal in Italian cinema, the festival features screenings as well as Q&A sessions with film authors and experts.

The 2024 edition of Donne di Mafia will screen “Black Souls” (“Anime Nere”) by Francesco Munzi, the 1958 classic title “The Challenge” (“La Sfida”) by Francesco Rosi, “Burning Hearts” (“Ti Mangio il Cuore”) by Pippo Mezzapesa, and “Nevia” by Nunzia De Stefano.

The festival takes place in London on 16 and 17 March, as well as in Bath a month later. Find out more and book tickets here.
