London meets Istanbul for one night only on Tuesday 3 February, when Chiave Shoreditch hosts a collaboration with cult Istanbul cocktail bar Bar Gabriel. Rather than a full-blown takeover, the night brings the two teams together behind the bar to create a joint menu that treats cocktails as a form of cultural exchange.

Chiave has become a favourite late-night spot in Shoreditch, known for exquisite drinks and a trendy, music-led vibe. Bar Gabriel, founded by award-winning bartender Osman Baycan, takes inspiration from the Anatolian kıraathane tradition – social spaces built around conversation and connection – reworked for a modern bar setting. For this one-off event, Osman will be behind the bar alongside the Chiave team, serving a curated menu that reflects both cities, with cocktails ranging from savoury, herb-led drinks to clarified milk punches and carbonated pours.

The collaboration taps into a growing interest in bars as cultural spaces rather than just places to drink, taking place on Tuesday, 3 February.
