Firsts: London's Rare Book Fair returns to the Saatchi Gallery from 15–18 May, bringing with it a treasure trove of rare books, original manuscripts, letters, and literary ephemera. Whether you're a seasoned bibliophile or just someone who can't resist the smell of an old book, this fair is a must-visit.

This year's theme, 'Books in Bloom', explores the relationship between books and botanicals – so expect plenty of florals alongside the literary rarities, from centuries-old herbals to beautifully illustrated botanical volumes.

Browse works by iconic authors, pick up handwritten letters, or simply spend some time marvelling at manuscripts from key moments in history. And yes, everything's for sale.

Set in the heart of Chelsea, Firsts London is one of the world's most respected book fairs, offering a rare chance to get up close with one-of-a-kind, rare pieces of literary history.
