The London Short Film Festival returns for its 23rd edition this week, taking over both major London cinemas and independent community spaces. As the UK's leading short film festival, LSFF champions bold, independent filmmaking from across the globe.

This year's programme features around 300 short films, ranging from emerging voices to established names and rediscovered archive gems. Expect an emotional spectrum that moves from intimate DIY confessionals to ambitious, cinematic storytelling, alongside talks, discussions, and one-off events. Under the common theme of Cinema Remembers What We Forget, the festival reflects on memory, identity, and the raw, unresolved fragments that shape who we are.
