A new Mayfair restaurant, Mistress of Mayfair, is slated for opening in February 2024 and looks to be going all out on the sophistication.

This new swanky lower-ground restaurant on St James's Street will be a swish Parisian-inspired restaurant, late-night bar and members club serving refined French fare in an elegant and Mayfair-esque setting.

The restaurant vibe is inspired by the subterranean tunnels below the building, where ladies of the night were once smuggled at the private members club, White's. Expect plenty of plush fabrics, deep reds and dim lighting.

The menu oozes sophistication, with dishes like lobster rolls, fillet mignon, caviar and, of course, oysters. There will even be a Champagne trolley to keep you hydrated on the bubbles, as well as an excellent wine list and classic cocktails.

DJs will be spinning tracks well into the night, although entry after 11 pm will be just for members.

Mistress will open in February 2024.
