On Thursday 18 September, Ministry of Sound is teaming up with Peak, the “mood drink” brand you've probably spotted in south London fridges, for a free pop-up party that's basically two events in one.
For the first time ever, The Box will transform into an intimate listening space, with rare dubs and grooves selected by Channel One, the legendary carnival sound system inspired by Jamaica's Channel One Studio.
Meanwhile, playpiem, described by The Face as “a driving force in the new era of Black British nightlife” and fresh from collaborations with Patta, Nike, and Receess, is cementing its reputation on London's club circuit and will be taking over the Courtyard. This marks the launch of a new “Choose Your Mood” party series, designed to shake up the city's nightlife.

Hype in the Courtyard brings proper energy: playpiem's own sound system, DJs dropping dancehall, bashment, R&B, and hip hop, plus free wings from Wingstop. Expect tattoos from The London Social, custom grillz from Loud Mouth, and giveaways for the first 100 through the door.
Calm in The Box offers a different kind of vibe. The main room becomes a candle-lit lounge with Better Listening and Channel One spinning reggae, rare grooves, and heavyweight dub on Ministry's MartinAudio rig. Add visuals by Kino Studios and luxury candles by Cent for a deep, introspective vibe.

The best part is that it's free. Just sign up for a ticket and you'll be sorted for one of the more unusual club nights London's seen in a while.
