Noble Rot started out as a cult wine magazine before opening its first bar and restaurant in Bloomsbury in 2015. A second in Soho followed in 2020 and now the group is set to grow even more. The team have announced that a third London location will open in Mayfair this year after securing a site in Shepherd Market. The latest venue will take over the former premises of Le Boudin Blanc.
The new venue promises to be an exciting addition to the scene – the existing restaurants have both featured in the National Restaurant Awards’ list of the top 100 restaurants in the UK and have won multiple awards for Wine List of the Year. Weekly-changing menus feature convenient set lunches plus small and large plates like black pudding and apple tart, grilled prawns, and smoked haddock. Naturally, there’s also a comprehensive choice of wines, including options by the glass and lesser-known and more challenging varieties.
Further details about the new Noble Rot opening are yet to be confirmed. However, the site is expected to open sometime in spring 2023.
