Noma Projects is coming to London

Fine dining fans the world over were shocked when the legendary Danish restaurant Noma, which holds three Michelin stars and has been ranked as the world's best restaurant multiple times, announced that it would close for good at the end of 2024. Whilst you still have some time to get over to Copenhagen before the restaurant closes, diners in London will also have the chance to experience Noma a little closer to home.

On 10th September Noma Projects, a new initiative that channels the restaurant's innovation, knowledge, and passion, will be teaming up with Mexican restaurant Kol and top cocktail bar Lyaness to present Noma 3.0. Between 12.30 and 6pm you can head to Kol to sample five small plates plus two cocktails or non-alcoholic alternatives. The dishes include octopus tostada with vegan XO sauce and seafood ceviche. These dishes are collaborations between Noma Projects' Thomas Frebel and Santiago Lastra, the chef and co-owner of Kol. Guests also get a tote bag with some special gourmet treats.

If that's not enough Noma for you, from 6pm onwards on the day you can head over to Lyaness at Sea Containers to try out collaborative cocktails that blur the lines between food and drinks. These original mixes combine the skills of Lyaness' R&D with inventive products from the Noma test kitchen. Teams from both venues will be on hand to answer questions and chat to guests.
