Oowee Vegan launches festive plant-based menu

When you think about Christmas food, roast turkey or pigs in blankets might be the first thing that springs to mind. Thanks to Oowee Vegan, diners of all descriptions can tuck in to some tasty festive food. The plant-based fast food restaurant, which has locations in Dalston and Brixton as well as sites in Bristol and Brighton, has just released its Christmas menu with three special dishes. The seasonal menu will be available until 4th January.

Oowee Vegan is already known for its vegan-friendly takes on burgers, fried chicken, and fries. Now it's bringing Christmassy flavours into the mix with the Classic Christmas burger, which adds red cabbage, a hash brown, fried onions, spinach pesto, cranberry sauce, and stuffing mayo to its original chicken burger. You can also go for poutine loaded up with gravy and festive sauces, available with either regular fries or waffle fries.

If that’s not already enough to make you feel full, you can complete a Christmas meal here with dessert too. The third item on the seasonal menu is a Christmas Trifle Shake, a vegan trifle reimagined into milkshake form. If you want to try it out, be aware that this one is not available at the Brixton branch. All of the special items are available now for dining-in, delivery, and takeaway, giving you more than one month to get your hands on them.
