The William Morris Design Line returns from 19 to 21 September 2025, inviting visitors to explore the workshops, studios, and creative spaces of Blackhorse Lane and the Argall Industrial Area during a special open weekend. Bringing together over 40 designers, artists, and makers, the event celebrates Walthamstow's thriving creative community through talks, demonstrations, and hands-on activities.

Highlights include Blackhorse Workshop's 11th Birthday Festival, the Turning Earth Leyton Ceramics Market, and open studio visits to spaces such as Suite Comfort Upholstery and Switchboard Studios. The programme also features opportunities to shop unique handmade pieces, learn new skills, and meet the people behind the work.

Founded in 2020 by Wood Street Walls and William Morris Big Local, the event has become a key part of the London Design Festival, championing community-led creativity and local talent. This year's theme, 'The Joy of Making', draws inspiration from William Morris's belief in meaningful, fulfilling work for everyone.
