World-famous ramen chef Ivan Orkin, who also goes by the evocative Instagram handle @ramenjunkie, is launching his debut bricks-and-mortar location in London this November.

Featured in Netflix's “Chef's Table” series, Ivan Orkin has built up a reputation as one of the great ramen masters of our time, and his London pop-up residency was one of the hottest tickets in town in 2023. Now the acclaimed chef is gearing up to launch the London branch of his cult Tokyo and New York restaurants Ivan Ramen.

Located in Farringdon, Ivan Ramen London will be an intimate spot with just 26 covers, so it'll likely be hard to get a seat on a spontaneous basis. Thankfully, delivery will be available as well. The menu will feature signature Ivan Ramen dishes such as spicy miso ramen, chicken paitan, and tonkotsu, as well as a London exclusive – a salt beef bao inspired by the classic East End bagels and filled with warm salt beef, pickled cucumbers, and fiery karashi mustard mayo.

Ivan Ramen London opens on 19 November. You can sign up for their newsletter here and be in for a chance to win a £100 voucher for the restaurant. Good luck!
