Now in their 10th year, the Canary Wharf Winter Lights are a beloved annual tradition, and from 20 to 31 January, Roe is adding an extra incentive to follow the glowing trail.

Roe's hot choc

The much-hyped restaurant from the team behind Fallow, one of the hottest openings in recent years, is popping up with its cult chicken shawarma stand, serving festival-exclusive comfort food each evening from 5 to 10pm. Winter LIghts visitors can also warm up with a rich hot chocolate topped with whipped cream and toasted marshmallow fluff, while this year's new menu addition, an indulgent sticky toffee pudding soft serve, finished with miso fudge and caramelised pecans, provides an exciting new twist.

Roe's sits directly on the Winter Lights route, making it an easy stop for giving in to temptation along the way – or, if in need of heartier sustenance, providing an ideal location for a relaxed meal before or after exploring the striking festival installations.
