Coming to London from Israel via Berlin, chef Gal Ben-Moshe of the Michelin-starred Prism in Charlottenburg will be showcasing his contemporary take on Levantine fine dining during a pop-up residency at Carousel.
Fitzrovia wine bar and kitchen Carousel hosts top chefs from around the world throughout the year, and it's no different with this residency they've got coming up in August. Gal Ben-Moshe from Tel Aviv runs Prism in Berlin along with his sommelier wife, using a creative approach to live fire to prepare Middle Eastern dishes that draw on his childhood and past career for inspiration. Seafood features heavily on the menu, and the chic restaurant has been a great success, receiving a Michelin star one year after opening and retaining it for four consecutive years so far. In the process, Ben-Moshe became only the second Israeli chef ever to receive the coveted award.
In August, for five days only, Ben-Moshe will guest at Carousel, serving a tasting menu with signature dishes such as Squid, Yoghurt, Campfire Potato, 'Nduja, and Squid Ink, or Lamb with Sour Cherries, Grilled Onions, and Freekeh.
Gal Ben-Moshe will be at Carousel from 22 to 26 August. For more info and how to book, head over here.
