The Sony World Photography Awards exhibition, a showcase of exceptional global photography, returns to Somerset House, featuring a range of genres from landscapes to street photography.

This year's exhibition introduces a new curatorial approach, enhancing the visual experience with a mix of printed, projected, and digitally presented photographs. It includes a special area dedicated to Edgar Martins, the 2023 Photographer of the Year, focusing on the narrative of his project. A curated selection of black-and-white works by legendary Brazilian photographer Sebastião Salgado will also be on display as part of the exhibition.

Visitors can expect to see award-winning photographs of wildlife, stirring portraits, and other remarkable images that capture the essence of the world. The event is an opportunity to engage deeply with the visual language of photography and discover the stories it can tell.

The Sony World Photography Awards 2024 exhibition is at Somerset House from 19 April to 6 May, with standard tickets priced at £15. You can find out more and book your spot here.
