Somerset House celebrates its 25th anniversary with a full weekend of free, family-friendly events, performances, and installations, including a pop-up basketball court, an immersive disco featuring iconic 80s and 90s sounds from the “Cute” exhibition, and hands-on drawing workshops inspired by the beloved Peanuts showcase.

Turner Prize-winning artist Tai Shani has unveiled a striking new large-scale sculpture in the courtyard, while installations like Nick Ryan's “The VoiceLine” and Gaika's “Tomb of the Sophists” activate rarely seen spaces, including The Deadhouse and Maker Street studios. For the first time, the public will be able to explore Somerset House's hidden corners and meet the creative community working within its walls. The weekend marks a milestone in Somerset House's transformation from government offices into one of London's most dynamic cultural hubs, inviting visitors to discover its past, present, and future.
