South London's beloved Model Market is set for a major revival in spring 2026, returning with an expanded and upgraded vision. The new edition will take over part of Lewisham Shopping Centre, blending retro 1950s market design with its trademark gritty-artsy atmosphere.
The organisers of Model Market aim to bring back the authenticity, inclusivity, and community energy that made the original so popular, while introducing fresh ideas for independent kitchens, makers, and creative spaces. Traders will be able to run small, characterful units offering everything from street food to inventive retail concepts. Alongside food, the market will feature DJ sets, cultural events, and pop-ups, creating a lively social hub for the area.
