The No Trousers Tube Ride is just the thing for anyone having trouble transitioning from festive sweatpants back to serious pants attire.

Every year, the No Trousers Tube Ride brings together a bunch of people eager to drop trou while riding the underground, some of them veterans of the pantsless commute, but many of them newcomers. If the idea tickles your fanny, er, fancy, head over to the meeting point outside of the Chinatown Bakery in Newport Place this Sunday at 2.45pm, where you and your fellow bare-legged travellers will be assigned to one of the tube lines running through the area.

Once you arrive at your departure station, it's time to take your trousers off – just the trousers, mind, your naughty bits should stay well covered – and hop aboard, pretending this is just another day at the office, nothing to see here folks, as you were. You'll ride around for a bit, maybe stroll around the arrival station and pose for a pic, then it's pants on and onwards to the pub for the post-ride social.

The 2026 No Trousers Tube Ride is free to attend. You can find out more about it on Facebook.
