On Sunday, the Kent Kite Flyers will bring their enormous kites to the Blackheath in Greenwich, covering the sky with colourful shapes and dancing pendants.

With the weather outlook looking good at the time of writing, this traditional kite day promises to be a lovely outing for the whole family. In addition to the kite flyers, the will feature a a steel band from local schools adding to the merriment, and the nearby Bottons Family Funfair will ensure there's no shortage of fun even if the wind dies down.
