The Anglo American Padel Cup is taking place in London on 10–11 October, with GB and USA going head-to-head in one of the world's fastest-growing sports.
Hosted at The Padel Hub in Islington, one of the city's newest premium venues, the tournament is modelled on legendary sporting formats, such as the Ryder Cup and America's Cup. Sixty-four of the best British and American players will go head-to-head across Open and Age Group divisions across two days of competition. Teams of top male and female players will battle it out, with featured matches taking place each afternoon. There's also a whole opening ceremony with live anthems, player interviews, awards, and partner activations throughout the venue.
Founded by Bill Ullman and Joelle Quinn (USA) and Ben Nichols (UK), and supported by partners including Playtomic, Babolat, Virgin Hotels Shoreditch, and Atis, the tournament aims to become a landmark annual moment in the international padel calendar, and the UK leg is the first chapter.
