From 7 February to 8 March, visitors to Kew Gardens can enjoy an abundance of dazzling colours at the annual Orchid Festival in the Princess of Wales Conservatory. This year, the spectacular event is celebrating 30 years with a display inspired by China.
Stunning floral displays will bring to life the beautiful biodiversity of the Asian country, interwoven with dragons, lanterns, and intricate plant sculptures, while also highlighting the reach of Kew's science and its work in the fields of plant conservation and global collaboration.

Open daily from 11am, the festival also includes the adult After Hours sessions in the dark on select days, with the displays lit up and accompanying events such as fashion walks, live music, and crafts workshops providing additional insight into Chinese culture. The Orchids After Hours sessions will be held on 13, 14, 20, 21, 27, and 28 February 2026.
Entry to the Orchid Festival is included with entry to the Gardens, though you need to book your slot in advance here. The Orchids After Hours sessions are priced at £20 and can be booked here.
