The Big Cathedral Knit returns to Southwark Cathedral for a relaxed day of knitting, chatting, and crafting blankets for people experiencing houselessness in London. Visitors can drop in anytime between 10am and 3pm on 29 November to knit or crochet 20x20cm squares that will become part of Craft Forward's Blankets for London 2026 project.

The event is open to everyone, from total beginners to seasoned makers, with plenty of chances to swap tips, learn new skills, and connect with fellow crafters. All materials are provided, though experienced knitters and crocheters are encouraged to bring their own tools. It's a cosy, creative gathering that blends community spirit with practical support for those in need.
