On Monday 6 October, The Ivy Club is throwing open its doors for one rare cultural evening celebrating one of Britain's finest theatre legends: Noël Coward.
American theatre critic Charles Isherwood will lead a cosy discussion on why Coward's influence is still going strong. Joining him are Oliver Soden, the biographer behind 'Masquerade: The Lives of Noël Coward', and Arty Froushan, the actor playing Coward in 'Downton Abbey: The Grand Finale'.
The night will include a live piano set, fascinating stories, and a lively panel delving into Coward's many talents, a playwright, actor, composer, lyricist, screenwriter, and cabaret star. It's all happening in the very spot Coward called his “favourite haunt,” where he used to unwind with the likes of Olivier, Leigh, and Dietrich.
With your ticket, you'll get a welcome gin martini or glass of champagne, live music courtesy of The Noël Coward Archive Trust, a thoughtful panel chat, plus an audience Q&A to really get stuck in.
Tickets cost just £35 and can be purchased here.
