Do you like riding your bike and exposing your booty to the world? Turns out you're not alone. The World Naked Bike Ride returns to London on 8th June, giving you the ideal opportunity to hop on your bike and feel the breeze on your unmentionables.
This annual event started 20 years ago and has taken place every year except for in 2020. The eye-popping activity serves to protest against car culture in cities globally, fight for the rights of cyclists, and also promote body positivity. Most participants get all of their kit off – you're requested to keep your clothes on until the event begins – but you're welcome to wear whatever makes you feel comfortable.
This fun event is free to join and is open to all; however, the organisers request that children are dressed appropriately and accompanied by an adult at all times. There's no need to sign up in advance, just turn up at one of the designated start points. You're also welcome to join a pre-ride and clothing-optional social event on 24th May to get to know some of your fellow nudie cyclists and prepare for the event.
Full details of start locations and timings are available on the World Naked Bike Ride website – we encourage you to check their website and social media pages in the run-up to the event in case of unexpected changes.
