The global hip-hop star will be sowing his signature brand of chaos across two days in Victoria Park over the August Bank Holiday, accompanied by a different set of support acts each day.
A headline show by one of the biggest rap stars in the world would've been a major coup for any London festival, but All Points East has done one better – they've booked Tyler, The Creator for two successive nights. The outspoken rapper, having last performed a run of shows in London this past May, will be joined at the East London festival by a different line-up each day. Friday will include shows by Clipse, Vince Staples, Turnstile, and Mariah the Scientist, among others. The next day's supports, meanwhile, include Ghostface Killah, Danny Brown, Dijon, Quadeca, and more. Producer Mustard and friends will also be holding court over one of the stages for both days.
This year's All Points East was beset by dust, with many attendees forced to wear masks to combat the grit flying through the air as a result of the (admittedly splendid) dry summer. Hopefully they'll have those issues sorted out by next year, though this booking is sure to buy the organisers quite a bit of goodwill.
Presale for Tyler, The Creator at All Points East goes live on Monday 13 October. You can sign up for more info here.
