Taking place on the Kew Green, Kew Fete is a free-to-enter event run by local volunteers with the aim of raising funds for local charities.

The one-day event brings together the local community for a day of family-friendly fun and relaxation in the sun, with more than 100 vendors setting up their stalls on the village green and offering everything from food and drinks to crafts, artisan products, and other goods. There are live music and performances to enjoy throughout the day, and visitors can participate in fun competitions such as tug-of-war or a dog show hosted by the stars of “Extraordinary”, or ride a carousel at the vintage fairground. There's also a charity raffle with prizes including glamping breaks, pub vouchers, and more.

The 2024 Kew Midsummer Fete takes place on Saturday 22 June from 11am to 6pm. You can find out more about the event on the Kew Fete website.
