Wide Awake Festival in Brockwell Park has quickly become one of London's most unique and well-curated festivals, celebrated for its genre-defying line-up and cultural impact. The popular South London shindig has now revealed the first wave of acts for next year's edition.
The 2025 edition of Wide Awake will be headlined by Irish-language rap trio Kneecap, bringing their high-energy, socially conscious sonic assault straight from Belfast. The line-up also includes a diverse mix of talent, from Irish singer-songwriter CMAT and electronic producer Daniel Avery to garage punk bands like Sprints and Mannequin Pussy, plus psych rock and experimental acts like Gaye Su Akyol and Detroit-based HiTech.Other standout performers announced so far include Erol Alkan in a b2b with Optimo (Espacio), Mercury Prize winners English Teacher, and rising stars like jasmine.4.t and Ugly.
Known for its commitment to showcasing new talent, the festival features leftfield indie, post-punk, techno, and more, appealing to fans looking for fresh, unconventional music. Wide Awake prioritises equal gender representation in its line-ups and works on sustainability through its 'Positive Policy,' focused on reducing environmental impact.
Wide Awake Festival 2025 will take place on 23 May in Brockwell Park. Tickets start at £49.50 and are available here.
