28°-50° by Night

Situated in a basement next to the Marylebone branch of the 28°-50° wine bars and eateries, 28°-50° by Night is an intimate jazz club that places an emphasis on pairing fine musicianship with fine wine.

The underground venue expands on the 28°-50° group’s signature oak-and-dark-velvet decor choices by adding a touch of elegance to the exposed-brick space. Marble tables are interspersed throughout the intimate 1920s-style speakeasy, accompanied by plush banquettes and bar stools. There’s a grand piano at one end of the venue and a low stage at the other, with dim lighting suffusing the entire place in a cosy ambiance.

28°-50° by Night puts on live music every night, with a changing programme of rising talent and established names playing traditional jazz, blues, swing, Dixieland and stomp late into the night. The kitchen stays open late as well, serving the group’s trademark simple, pleasurable European fare. Expect the menu to feature a range of popular continental classics, including starters such as burrata, salmon ceviche and oysters, and mains such as rib-eye steak, cod, duck leg or vegetarian gnocchi. A two- or three-course post-theatre menu is available as well, and the bar also serves a range of snacks.

Like at all 28°-50° venues in London, the wine pairing is a particular highlight. The fines wines are available by the glass, carafe or bottle, and include rare vintages from private collections. The award-winning wine list is curated in-house, with sommeliers on hand to help you find the perfect accompaniment to your evening.
