L'Artiste Muscle launched about a half a century ago as wine bar in the basement of a wine shop, later adding a classic French bistro offer. The quirky spot quickly became a local favourite, drawing in celebrities such as Elton John and Ringo Starr. It remains a cosy, somewhat eccentric gem in Mayfair to this day, serving authentic French cuisine such as escargots, bœuf bourguignon, and mussels, accompanied by fine French wines.
