Old Street has seen a lot of change in recent years, but the Old Fountain pub has remained a fixture since the 1960s. Owned by the same family throughout, it's become a haven of stability in the area, serving reliably good grub and top-notch drinks throughout. The kitchen is run by the Laughing Yak and puts a Nepalese spin on classic dishes, including Sunday roasts, and the independent pub also features a pleasant terrace for alfresco dining and drinking.
