Tequila Mockingbird Putney

Having moved to a new spot near its original location, the Putney branch of Tequila Mockingbird aims to retain its title of Putney's favourite cocktail bar with a large venue with four separate areas, including a riverside garden, a range of cocktails and late-night fiestas.

This new and improved Tequila Mockingbird occupies four separate areas, which include a ground floor bar that's open seven days a week, another bar in the basement, and the so-called tunnel club room, where DJs turn it up every weekend. And during the warmer months, the terrace next to the Thames lets patrons cool off with al fresco drinks.

The drinks menu is dominated by the cocktails, with a number of special creations from the Tequila Mockingbird team, such as the rum-based Caribbean Sailor or the in-house Mockingbird Punch. All the cocktails are 2-for-1 during the daily happy hours (5–8pm), and the bartenders can make any classics that might have been left off the list.

Speaking of lists, it's everything goes on the playlist as long as it keeps the party going, from hip-hop bangers to indie anthems, with requests accepted as well. The festive Mexican atmosphere also supercharges the bottomless brunches with novelty party games such as party piñata, conga lines and limbo challenges. ¡Ole!
