The Chalk Freehouse

Additional information: The Chalk Freehouse used to be The Butcher's Tap, also run by Tom Kerridge.

The Chalk Freehouse is the latest gastropub from the team behind The Hand and Flowers. Led by chef Tom De Keyser, formerly of the two Michelin-starred pub in Marlow, it's all about classic British comfort food in a laid-back space. The menu includes pub favourites like pork chop schnitzel and a stellar Sunday roast, alongside a refined wine list and rotating cask ales. There are also a custom-built bar in the garden and a private dining room.
