The Guildford Arms

The Guildford Arms is a pleasant gastropub in Greenwich, adhering to a philosophy of allowing the natural flavours of the food to shine.

Taken over by a pair of restaurateurs in 2009, The Guildford Arms has been meticulously transformed into a delightful culinary destination. The revamped space includes a bright and contemporary bar on the ground floor, accompanied by a minimalist dining area that offers charming views of the sunken garden, as well as an additional dining area that seamlessly extends into a charming garden terrace. The basement dining area also features the gastropub's open-plan kitchen, allowing diners to observe the culinary goings-on. The convivial pub can also be partitioned to serve as a private event venue for different occasions.

Emphasising simplicity, the dishes are a testament to sustainably sourced seasonal produce, with a robata charcoal grill the focal point of the kitchen.  Prepared using both traditional and modern techniques, the elevated dishes on the menu feature international influences, with plenty of different spices. You'll find everything from sharing boards to burgers here, with Saturday brunch and Sunday roast served as well, along with various plant-based options.

As a free-house, The Guildford Arms showcases a thoughtful selection of local craft beers and soft drinks. The wine list is a curated collection of European wines, with a special focus on small, family-run wineries.
